Croc & Roo Tasting

I'm not much of an exotic meat person, but what better place to try Crocodile & Kangaroo for the first time than Australia. Our hostel was having a bbq with free Croc & Roo tasting and although it was strange that we were just feeding Kangaroos a few hours before, we did it anyway. It may have been all in my mind, but I didn't enjoy either one. Croc had the texture of a really dry piece of chicken and Roo was very much like steak, can't quite describe the flavor. You can tell by the look on my face that I'm not too fond of it.
