Over the weekend, we went camping at Yosemite and had such a good time. Scenery, more captivating than I had anticipated. Mountains, trees, fresh air - I loved every minute of it. I'm so used to being in the city surrounded by buildings, so it was a great getaway. We spent a lot of time eating anything and everything -- breakfast burritos, ribeye steaks, hotlinks, burgers, chicken! We did the usual and sat around the campfire, played games like Taboo and MadGab, told ghost stories, jokes etc. All in all, total bonding experience.
One morning, we did the hike up the Mist trail. We completely underestimated the difficulty of that hike. It was no Half Dome, but it was tough. The end result, waterfalls, the river, and rock formations allowing for a chill spot underneath the sun.
