Northern California gets a bad rap for it's beaches because they're not the prettiest or cleanest in the state and the water temperature is always cold. Turns out, Carmel Beach actually has blue water and clean sand. It's probably the best beach I've been to up here. I don't even think I've seen water this blue in SoCal. If you disagree, please let me know where to find it :)
